HUXHAM’S FAMOUS AFTER SALES METER SERVICE
At Huxham’s we are justifyably proud of our service to Diabetics while dispensing their Prescriptions, selling them a Blood Glucose Monitor, answering their queries, helping with their NDSS supplies or giving them the Meter After Sales Service for which we are famous.
Complete tuition on the use of the meter is given by a Qualified person and the purchaser does a test on his or her meter before leaving the shop. We welcome follow-up enquiries, no matter how old the meter is, and can clean or test any meter for accuracy and performance. Our service extends to members of the Medical fraternity and we can sometimes offer special deals.
Most meters come in kits with all items, strips, lancets, lancet device, instruction manuals etc. ready for use, but not all contain strips. All meters however carry a life-time quarantee and we take care that this is implemented for the purchaser.
Since we are a Diabetic Pharmacy and have been for over 30 years, Huxham’s carries one of the largest ranges of Insulin in stock at all times, and naturally have all the accessories that go with Diabetes.
Insulin Pens for all brands of insulin, needles, sharps containers, swabs, Blood Glucose strips, lancet devices, lancets, record book diaries, sweeteners, all hypo needs, largest range of Diabetic Sweet are open until at least 7.00 pm weekdays as well as Saturday mornings. The Medical Centre attached to our Pharmacy has parking, lifts, etc,and four Doctors in attendance. We are a sub-agent of Diabetes Australia so the NDSS card can be used to obtain Strips, needles, syringes etc. Registration forms for new Diabetics can be left with us.
